Description
In Canelli d’Asti, Cardamaro is a long-standing creation of what is now a 4th generation winemaker. Cardoon and blessed thistle are the main flavours of Cardamaro, with a brief rest in oak for seasoning and texture. Drink as an aperitif or digestif, excellent with cider, or in certain drinks use vermouth instead. It is possible to use Cardamaro in place of oak because of the slight oak treatment.
