Description
“La Solana can be freely translated as « the sun drenched » and is always the first plot of Listán Negro to be picked, but I didn’t know what to expect of the 2019 La Solana, because the 2018 was completely different from previous vintages, much more elegant and balanced. This fermented with 50% full clusters and indigenous yeasts in concrete vats with a 24-day maceration, and it matured in a second-use 4,500-liter oak foudre and used 500-liter barriques for 13 months. 8,000 bottles were produced. It was bottled in December 2020. Drink 2022 – 2027.” – 93 points, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate
