‘Cropped from a warm, dry and early harvest, the 2017 T. Amarela Parcela Valdemedel was picked in early August. It’s quite dark colored and always has aromas of licorice and Mediterranean herbs. It’s an approachable and pleasant wine that’s round, juicy, straightforward and very easy to drink. They did a softer vinification, and it’s certainly a lighter vintage for T. Amarela. Unfortunately, this will be the last vintage for this wine. Some 2,000 bottles produced.’ – Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate – 92 points
