Description
Bodega Garzon in Uruguay was named New World Winery of The Year in 2018 by Wine Enthusiast magazine. The Bulgheroni family bought the old estate and completely modernized everything to make it one of the most cutting edge wineries in South America. They are also completely committed to sustainability in every aspect of their business, from the vineyards to the LEED certified buildings.
The Spanish grape Albarino is thriving on the warm coasts of Uruguay and this one is a great example of the quality to be found there. It’s fresh and vibrant with notes of peach, citrus and mineral. Pair with fresh shellfish, white fish or shrimp.
